Document URL stays same after changing folder?
I have a documents folder which was called "Document1" for example.

it contained pdf1.pdf

the url alias was site/Document1/pdf1

I changed the Document1 name to Document2

The url should be site/Document2/pdf1 when shown in a repeater, but it's still
site/Document1/pdf1

Clearly the url alias hasn't changed inside the database (it still works). Is there something I need to do to update the stored urls to the new one?

RE:Document URL stays same after changing folder?
Hello,

Actually, you need to change also the Document alias property for that folder in its Properties tab under the URLs section.

Best regards,

Actually, that's what I changed, but documents that were already created under that folder prior to the change still have the wrong path.

RE:Document URL stays same after changing folder?
Hello,

This is strange. Could you please confirm, that you can't see the same behavior in the General section on your PDF's Properties tab as I am showing below?

1) I have created a Doc1 folder and uploaded there the Instructions_55.pdf file:
Alias path: /Doc1/Instructions_55
Culture: English - United States
Name path: /Doc1/Instructions_55
Live URL: /Doc1/Instructions_55

2) I have changed the name of Doc1 folder to Doc2:
Alias path: /Doc1/Instructions_55
Culture: English - United States
Name path: /Doc2/Instructions_55
Live URL: /Doc1/Instructions_55

3) I have changed an alias of this folder from Doc1 to Doc2:
Alias path: /Doc2/Instructions_55
Culture: English - United States
Name path: /Doc2/Instructions_55
Live URL: /Doc2/Instructions_55

Best regards,
Jan Hermann
