Member	main-it - 3/4/2009 4:40:21 AM Logon form web part Hi, in both v 3.1a and v 4.0 I have a problem with the Logon form web part layout setting. If I choose CMS Site Manager, Development, Web Parts, Membership, Logon form, Layout IE 7.0 does not display the content and the progress bar never stops. I tried with Firefox 3.0 too but the behavior is the same. Regards, MRK

Hi,

Could you please describe us what do you mean by explanation "Layout IE 7.0 does not display"? Are you getting any error messages?

By default, none of the out-of-box web parts has additional layout, so you should see just empty screen with possibility to create one. Sometimes it might happen that the progress bar is loading in IE, but this can be eliminated by clicking the Layout tab again.

thank you for your answer.

I need to customize the "Logon Form" web part (i.e. changing fields position). So I thought to edit the layout property of the web part in the same way I can edit the layout property for the "Logon mini form" web part. When I click on the layout tab (in the Logon Form web part), I can't see anything and the IE progress bar increases very very slowly. That why I supposed that could exists a problem with that web part. Reading you post I understand that "Logon Form" hasn't any default layout, isn't it?

Anyway, I just resolved my issue making changes to the CSS. In my case, that solution works fine.
