Urgent help needed Please Please!
Hi ,

I tried to install free version. all works well but at the database setup page no.3 the page stuck at this query cms_user.sql, i have tried many times.

Please help

Hi,

Could you please check if your database collation is CI (Case Insensitive)?

This is one of Kentico CMS requirements. (http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/system_requirements.htm)

The server must use case insensitive (CI) collation.

If this is not helping you, you would need to run all of the database sctripts manually.After you have installed Kentico CMS on your machine there should be defaultDBObjects.txt file in C:\Program Files\KenticoCMS\4.0\Webinstaller\SQL folder. Could you please try to create new database and try to run SQL scripts from C:\Program Files\KenticoCMS\4.0\Webinstaller\SQL on your database in defaultDBObjects.txt file order? You probably will get some error message if running mentioned SQL scripts in file (defaultDBObjects.txt) order which would help us to solve your issue.

There is also second text file (defaultData.txt) according which data is imported into database tables.
