Getting Async Error Message on the home page
I have followed the instruction to upgrade from version 4.0 to 4.1 but now I am getting

Asynchronous operations are not allowed in this context. Page starting an asynchronous operation has to have the Async attribute set to true and an asynchronous operation can only be started on a page prior to PreRenderComplete event.

Hello,

It should be sufficient to add following piece of code: Async=“true“ to the @ Page directive of the <your project>\CMSPages\PortalTemplate.aspx file.
