adding a shopping cart onto my site

i'll be using this simple shopping cart, all i need to do is copy and paste the code on my website but then i'm not too sure which section of my site should i paste it on inorder to enable the shopping cart. Hope you guys could guide me along. A simple explanation would help, not in layman term though ;)
