Custom tables limitations

Hi,

I have discovered a few llimitation in the CMS interface that refrain us from using custom tables for now.
I would like to know if it will be addressed with the next update of Kentico 4.X

The first limitation is that it's seems impossible to display values from a linked table on the page showing the custom table records in CMSdesk. It's really difficult to read and find the right record if your table mostly contain IDs.

The second limitation is more a nice to have and not a show stoper. On the same screen it will be nice to have a search functionality like for other part of CMSDesk.

I at first wanted to use the custom table feature as well, but found the same limitations mentioned above for creating links such as many-to-many relationships.

I have since turned to creating my own document types and using the Related docs "is related" feature to make these connections.

Perhaps you could try this. In the end, I think is is a better solution and so far it has worked great.
