Team Development in Kentico
I'm interested in hearing how people are doing team development using Kentico.

What are the best practices?

Is portal or aspx mode better suited for team dev... or does it matter?

Is it better for developers to share a content database when doing development, or for each developer to have his own?

Where are the pitfalls?

Thanks for sharing!

RE:Team Development in Kentico
Hi Brian,

I would recommend using one database and use Web farms module (otherwise changes made by one developer wouldn't take effect on other developers machines because of caching). I would also recommend using some source control for files from project folder (you may put only folders that you are going to change into source control, like CMSFormControls, CMSWebParts, etc.).

Best Regards,
