Search engine index first rebuild
I am configuring the Smart Search on a site with version 4.1 and can't seem to get an index to build I have followed the directions and set up the index bue when I do the first rebuild it indicates it has started but never finishes the reubiuld. It has been running an hour on a site with less that 100 nodes. I have tried this on both a copy on the server and a local copy. Is this supposed to take a really long time?

Hello,

Could you please check whether rebuilding process has rights to create and delete under App_Data folder? Are any files created during rebuilding procedure?

Could you please see Site Manager -> Administration -> Event log if there is any message regarding the restart?
