Suggestion : Integrate Telerik control to kentico : RadMenu, RadTreeview.
eg : For example: the navigation menu is fairly simplistic in kentico without minimizing kentico the Telerik controls implemented in kentico to be beneficial for one as for the other. partnerships between your 2 companies might also very well. it's up to you to see of course :)

Hi,

Here you can find an example how to integrate 3rd party components into Kentico CMS - http://devnet.kentico.com/Knowledge-Base/Web-parts---Controls/Integrating-3rd-party-components-in-Kentico-CMS.aspx.

We do not plan to add these components to default installation. But, we plan to create few more examples in our Knowledge Base section. I hope that we will put these articles with code examples there by the end of this year or at early beginning of the year 2009. Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. I have noted it.

The 3rd party controls integration is made by our support engineers because the developers are busy with the CMS development. Also our support is quite busy every day so there is not much time left for this so it may take some time to finish the example even if it is pretty simple at the end of the day.

Yes, as a developer, I understand the time vs feature problem very well .... no problem here.

But, as a suggestion, I would propose to increase the priority of this item, because I think is very common for your clients (as a developers) to have valid license for 3-th party controls ... and don’t’ have the possibility to use it (with minimum effort, I understand I can develop custom classes, but this take time) in your cms can be (IMHO) a little bit frustrating.

Anyway, I would vote again for a DevExpress integration :-)
