Setup error on clean beta install

I'm trying to do a clean install of the 4.0 beta and at Step 3 get the following error when trying to select a starter site:
This template requires one of following license editions: Free, Standard, Ecommerce, Professional, Enterprise, Community. Your license edition is #UNKNOWN#.

The New site wizard also gives an error: "No license was found, the import cannot continue without license."

If I try to generate a licence key for localhost I get the following error:
Given license is in wrong format

Any tips to get v4 up and running would be very welcome.

Hi,

Have you entered any license during the DB installer? Moreover, you need to add the license in the same format as it is generated, that means also with the domain name, expiration, edition, etc.

Also, the license must be for 4.x version and not for 3.x version.

Have you ever installed Kentico CMS on your computer - trial version?

You can send us the trial license request to our support also with the domain name and we will send you 30 day trial key. Best Regards, Juraj Ondrus
