Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance engineer will work closely with the development team to dive deep into the product, learn the key features and understand the target audience. In addition, the selected candidate will be responsible for performing software quality assurance practices and suggesting ways to effective error correction and possible prevention.

The main objective is to “iron out any bugs” and significantly improve product quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform effective manual and automation testing.
Interact with developers on a constant basis to ensure the highest quality level of finished products.
Design and document test plans, create and execute test cases and test scripts.
Able to implement QA practices on more than one release at a time.
Develop test strategies which effectively “break the system”.
Conduct in-depth analysis of test results to assure quality of existing and new functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum one year of relevant working experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Good knowledge of English is MUST
Hands on experience in writing test plans and test cases, creating and executing test scripts
Working knowledge in setting up a test environment and configuring virtual machines for platform testing
Experience with functional testing, black-box testing, customer scenario testing, performance testing, stress testing, scalability and usability testing
Familiarity with databases and ability to query an SQL database to verify a test and write simple queries
Experience in working with version control systems (e.g. Git), tracking/bug systems, and wiki systems
Solid understanding of working in a true start-up environment
QA test certification is a big plus
