Member	seanbun-hotmail - 11/20/2008 9:25:27 PM Missing CAPTCHA image I have been working on Kentico v3.0 and tried to add a "Security code" field in a bizform. The CAPTCHA image does not show up on the page but a "red cross". When I open the "/CMSPages/CaptchaImage.aspx" page, it gave me the error message below: XML Parsing Error: no element found. What is you version of Kentico CMS? Are you using any caching options? Could you please try to display it in another browser to see if the problem will occur? The CAPTCHA appears and works fine on non-IE browsers, but I get the "Image not found" error on IE browsers. I'm using Kentico v 3.1a. I'm testing on my localhost, so is there some way I can troubleshoot this problem? Thanks, -sash

RE:Missing CAPTCHA image

I have just found the underlying issue here (I work with Matt - seanbun@hotmail.com) and thought I'd post to ease your mind...

It turns out that way back when we began using Kentico we experienced issues with the Captcha functionality (before my time) and implemented our own using a 3rd party provider. This integration involved the addition of a HTTPHandler listening for CaptchaImage.aspx I found it in the web.config this morning.

After removing the handler everything once again works like a charm.

I can't find the CaptchaImage.aspx file. /CMSPages/Dialogs/CaptchaImage.aspx : not found. Where can I get this file ? Why this file doesn't exist for me ?


Member	efusien - 10/21/2010 8:51:08 AM RE:Missing CAPTCHA image Ok, The CMSPages\Dialogs folder didn't exists in my solution. I just get it from the Trial version, downloaded on www.kentico.com. Since, all works fine.
