css menu not working
hi there

i am trying to get the css menu that is used in corporate css to work(black tabs when you hover over it orange)

i have checked everything but for some or other reason it is not working

could some one please tell me why?

when i click new website > website template then it creates the site and when i click"edit new site" the menu is not like it should be. i have checked the style sheet and the vertical and horizontal menus are definatly there its just not "carrying" it over on to the page

Hello,

Have you changed your CSS stylesheet somehow? There could be slightly changed CSS class of your menu. The CSS stylesheet is shared within all sites (if it's set so) in one instance of Kentico CMS.

Do you mean cmsmenu (Drop-down menu webpart)? Please try to get back the original CSS stylesheet. You can do it by installing new instance of Kentico CMS. You can find it then in: 'CMS Site Manager -> Development -> CSS stylesheets -> Edit (Corporate site)'. Please look for particular CSS class and copy and paste it to your site's stylesheet. If it's another menu, you can find appropriate CSS class in source code of the rendered page.

impor not working
i am not sure that the style sheet is the problem it is the exporting and the importing that is causing the problem i think as all is fine on my local machine but once i import it onto a live server that is where the problem comes in - been busy for hours now - i have run out of ideas on how to get all the content from the local to to the live I also get this warning message WARNING: Insufficient write permissions. Please copy manually files and folders listed below:

I have set the permissions and still get this error - must i manually upload each item it request(it is more or less 43 word pages that it says i must upload manually)

Hello,

As you are facing the import bug in another issue, you can fix it with hotfix, we will provide you (via e-mail). It could also help you with this issue. Anyway, if not, please try following:

Firstly please check if you have set appropriate permissions (write) for the files/folders on the server.

You can still try to import unzipped package. Regarding how to import unzipped package, please follow procedure below:

1) Create MySite folder in '~\CMSSiteUtils\Import' folder.
2) Unzip package into MySite directory so the result path would be '~\CMSSiteUtils\Import\MySite\Data'.
3) Click 'SiteManager -> Sites -> Import site or objects' button. In step 1 there should appear MySite item in list of files to be imported. Try to import MySite item. You should better choose to resolve conflict manually in next step as if you choose to rewrite existing items the problem with callbacks might appear again.

Note: You can name the "MySite" folder how you would like to, the point is that the folder Data can't be straight under the Import folder.
