Import problems
Hi,
I'm using v3.1a
I have a site named "Site1" that I exported. I installed another instance of Kentico on another web site. I want to import and create a new site from the export I. The new site is named "Site2".
Here is the inconsistencies that I have noted. if you can help me understand...
note: I was doing a full import
- I have a contact page with a Bizform webpart. In the new web site "Site2" when i go to the page design mode i see this message : "Required form 'na30BizFormsContact' does not exist.". I checked the database and the form is there, the table is created. The siteId of the bizform in the table 'CMS_Form' is assigned to the correct site id for "Site2"
Also... I click configure on the problematic bizform web part. Then I see the web site into the first bizform settings combobox. Nothing is listed in the second one to select the bizform. BUT If i create a new bizform web part in the same page I can now see the corect information in both combobox. This is strange.
- I noted problems with cultures when importing, but from what I see this is already a known issue with 3.1a
note: I have 2 cultures defined, en-CA & fr-CA. fr-Ca is defined as default for the web site.
- When I import, the localized documents (en & fr) are created only during the first import. If i delete a document that exists (and deleting all documents history and localized version) and import the site again. Only the documents in the default culture are created. In other words if I remove all documents from my web site and that I re-import a second time only document in fr-CA are created. If I switch to en-CA culture in design mode, all documents are marked as not created (with the X mark)
If I wasn't clear enough please feel free to let me know.
