cannot export from dev

Hi,

Im getting a persistent problem when exporting from my development machine.(v3.1a free edition)

I'm trying to export only document types and page templates and keep getting this error.

Application has been restarted and the logging of the export process has been terminated. Please make sure that the export package has been created.

Exporting 'Page templates' objects
Copying 'Document types' files
Exporting 'Document types' objects
Exporting 'Site' objects

I am doing nothing to cause the application to restart

Hi,

Have you made any changes in App_Code folder (http://www.kentico.com/docs/devguide/folder_structure_and_importexp.htm)?

The problem could be caused by this - .Net framework is restarting the application every time if something is changed in App_Code folder. Also, could you please check the Event log in Site Manager -> Administration. Maybe there will be logged more information.
