Member	Monstesr - 7/2/2009 4:05:14 PM Kentico slowing down Hi, As time has gone on, Kentico has been becoming slower and slower when creating new content. Editing existing content is fine, but adding a new web part to a page is so slow that it often fails. What could be causing this?

Hi,

Design mode of Kentico CMS is not cached and therefore all of the components need to load its content from database, so it might be slow in your case. However, there is “Display web part content” option in design mode, so you can uncheck it and web part content will not be loaded. We are working on some improvements regarding this issue.

Member	Monstesr - 7/9/2009 9:38:19 AM RE:Kentico slowing down I use the 'display web parts' option to NOT show web parts, and this makes the screen render quickly. The problem though, is that when saving a new web part, the save takes a very very long time, to the point where it is often failing.
