Publish Files Disappear
We are having issue with Kentico where a pdf file uploaded by user would suddenly disappear and the link would display a blank page. However, this doesn’t happen all the time. We have a load balanced solution in place and files get replicated to both servers.

We are currently using Kentico CMS v 3.0.
Can you suggest what could be causing this and how we can remedy it?

Hi,

What are the file storage settings set for your CMS (database vs. file system)?
How are you creating the links?
Are you using any security settings? I mean any permissions set for the documents/files so they won't display to anybody.

Are you able to view the files in CMS Desk?

Anyway, I would like to recommend you to consider the upgrade to a newer version - 3.0 is very old version with many bugs and not that many features as the new versions.
