[Error loading the layout 'Layout'] error on all instances
Hi
We have just encountered an error on our installation of this product.
the full error is
[Error loading the layout 'Layout']
c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\2010rotherham\bc2209bd\def37349\App_Web_2010rotherhamltd.ascx.e91c6305.txeozg3a.0.cs(186): error CS0012: The type 'Global' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'App_Code.ehehpswo, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

But this file does not exist.
Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Hello,

Could you please try to delete the content of folder:

c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\

There are only temporary files. The issue is caused by the unsatisfactory work with cache of .NET framework.

Thanks that fixed it.
I would be interested to find out what caused this glitch in the first place.

Hi,

Sometimes it happens during the development or when the application pool is recycled, that the new data are not loaded correctly to the .Net cache and therefore you need to delete the cache manually.
