Empty Shopping Cart

I am not sure why I am getting the following message:
"We are sorry, the selected product is currently not available for purchase. Shopping cart is empty. Shopping cart is empty. "

I have double-checked that I made the item an active product using the Products button in the Content toolbar.

My url is showing that it is picking up the ID and quantity, but I do notice that the ProductID of the product that I created is different from the ProductID in the Product Properties where I activate it. Could this be an issue?

As I am thinking about this...is there a way that to make it so that every time I create a new product that it automatically activates it as a purchasable product for the shopping cart without having to take the extra step of clicking the 'Products' button in the content toolbar to activate it? Wow...talk about a run-on sentence.
