CuteEditor (or other custom editors)
Is there a straightforward way to use a third party editor in place of FCK or FreeTextBox? Looking through the code it seems pretty hardwired in several places, and our content developers are really hoping to use CuteEditor.

Before the FCK editor was added, I implemented it using a custom user control.
That worked good enough for me, I suspect you can do the same thing using CuteEditor.

Hi Chip,

you can use CuteEditor through a custom field type (user control). However, you may need to modify some CMS Desk pages that are used for image selection and creating links to documents.
