CMSSiteMap

Hello,
We need to join a site map to our application, but we've got a very large structure and your kentico CMSSiteMap needs to scrolll a lot to see it.
We want to show trhe site map as a horizontal menu (with ne nodes already deployed or to be deployed avec a mouse click).
There're several pages on our site that won't be never accesed by the navigation menu but throught a particular page or in the site map
We have thought to use a CMSMenu but we don't know how to configure it to show items that are selected as "show in the site map" instead of menuitems.
Is this possible? Or can we configure your site map to be displayed in several columns or avec all the nodes not expanded?)

Hello,

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, this is not supported since the menu controls always check if the menu item is to be shown in navigation. In this case, you will need to write your own code for rendering the collapsable sitemap. We will try to implement this in some of the next versions.

Another option would be using several CMSSiteMap controls on the page - one control for each main menu item and display/hide the whole section (control) using your JavaScript.
