AEG is a 120-year-old tool manufacturer with not only a ground-breaking heritage in electrical tools and engineering, but a formative role in establishing the field of industrial design. Their site needed a new fresh, responsive design, which introduced new navigation with a focus on user journey and experience in multiple languages, as well as a 360-degree product viewer, video functionality, and a “featured product” area that would display specific tools. Finally, the site had to be prepared to encourage reviews and move towards a retail-focused approach.
Netconstruct used a responsive, mobile-first design, and multi-lingual approach, leveraging Kentico 8.2’s support for multi-lingual pages and fuzzy-search to allow for users to find tools with partial words and phrases.
