FC Basel 1893 is Switzerland’s most successful football club for the past decade.
FC Basel 1983 approached YooApplications to redesign and improve their online presence to satisfy the increasing needs of national and international visitors. The objectives of the ambitious project were to create an inspiring and consistent appearance covering all major platforms (desktop and mobile) and enlarge the global reach by implementing a new user experience by focusing on usability.
Due to the specific features and the adaptability of Kentico 8, YooApplications AG was able to implement a multitude of functions, such as: multilingual content, responsive layout, live ticker, interfaces between FC Basel’s mobile app and website, custom made sports module combined with Kentico widgets to manage Sports data, custom made news publishing system based on Kentico pages, combining the Kentico tag feature with the news system, image gallery, multifunctional content slider and multi instance hosting with Windows Azure (auto scaling).
Since the relaunch, the FC Basel 1893 website has increased its monthly number of visitors to more than 260’000 (+10%) with a total of more than 540,000 (+15%) sessions per month. Due to the new user experience, mobile users are accountable for almost 50% of the visits (+25%).

Talking Tables provides high quality and ‘quirky’ table decorations for all types of events from birthdays to dinner parties as part of a large multi-million pound e-commerce business.
Distinction introduced an image-led dynamic ‘mega menu’, allowing customers to shop by range, event or product in a clear, concise and compelling way. With more than half of their traffic originating from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, it was crucial that the site was fully mobile-friendly.
One of the main reasons for choosing Kentico CMS was the nature of the complex integration with Winman ERP and their mixed mode account requirements for either public or trade. Inline currency switching, basket saving and account management is all handled with ease in Kentico. With advanced e-commerce and reporting tools, the client is able to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the site is being used, popular products and their return on investment.
The client is delighted with a beautiful new web design as well as Kentico’s industry-leading ecommerce features delivering a rock-solid foundation for this complex and powerful website. The results speak for themselves:

NEC is a best practice contracting, procurement and project management process targeted at the building industry, and the site is the key source of products and information for NEC’s core product, NEC3.
The key goal was to communicate and allow purchasing of a complex offering of products and services to a diverse range of customers, incorporating various tiers of membership. There were two sites powered through the same instance of Kentico, targeting different market segments, whilst centralizing the administration.
Pull Digital recommended the Kentico platform to satisfy the demanding needs of this ambitious project. Kentico’s integration bus was used heavily to synchronize data for products, orders, customers, pricing and other key entities. Pull Digital used both inbound and outbound integration with a failover backup service. The pricing system was extended to allow for individual prices for multi-currency environments, so the marketing price was used rather than the simple exchange rate based price. The checkout process was customized to incorporate delegates and booking information for training and events. The registration process was optimized not only to integrate the back office system, but to further enhance data quality through matching users to the right account in the back office system via Salesforce Integration.
Two months since its launch:

  • The new NEC website is delivering 22% more users compared with the previous year’s period.
  • The bounce rate has decreased by 10%.
  • There has also been a 10% increase in organic search visits.

United Bank is a New England community bank that formed after a 2014 merger of equals with Rockville Bank – two established, high-performing financial institutions with more than $5 billion in assets.
The website is built on the powerful Kentico CMS 8.1. ZAG Interactive’s involvement centered on strategy, design, copywriting, marketing and technology. Strategy was involved in developing a new site architecture that would effectively combine the legacy United Bank and Rockville sites. This required a custom design reflecting the progressive, unique and approachable components portrayed by the new brand.
ZAG’s design team utilized mega-menu navigation to ensure ease of access to all pages with minimal clicks. Improved alerts management for better customer communication and reformatted internal pages highlighting key information in an easily digestible and actionable format were among many site updates. Responsive design was implemented to ensure adaptability on all mobile devices and tablets.
ZAG created new content and streamlined existing content to create clear access to online banking, clear calls to action and to complement the clean, modern and progressive design standard. Moreover, SEO best practices have improved United Bank’s search engine appeal and has attracted new customers.

Lion Technology specializes in regulatory compliance training. They offer public workshops, webinars, and online and onsite training focused on HAZMAT, OSHA, EPA and RCRA compliance.
The project recently completed was a redesign of their existing Kentico site. The biggest goal besides the facelift was beefing up the filtering and search functionality on the course catalog, and adding lots of additional functionality to the Member Area. The Training Portal got an updated design so that it would be a seamless integration for users. Built on Kentico 7, it’s a responsive site that integrates with Lion’s LMS software to deliver a comprehensive training tool within their website. Each member’s personal training history, certifications and available course material, along with other personal data is stored in the LMS and seamlessly displays across their personalized Member area, which they can access via a secured log in.
The redesign has shown positive results for Lion so far, with most customers excited that they can access training on their tablets, and have the same robust experience as a desktop user.

Tellonline worked with Kaspersky, an international internet security provider, on three interlinked projects – Global Think Test, Think Security Guide, and Campaign Guide. The Global Think Test was a microsite that hosted a selection of games and quizzes, with contributions from British Mensa, which used the Kentico EMS features to collect user data to support marketing and sales activities.
The EMS features were the key motivation behind choosing Kentico; the built-in functions allow the Kaspersky marketing team to increase sales leads through user data collection, which can then be used to monitor behavior, and in turn, provide a personalized experience and inform future contacts (e.g. marketing automation).
The Google Analytics statistics for the site show, there were a significant number of unique visitors and page views since the site launched in mid-August. On September 5th, the website reached the highest volume of visitors (31,359 sessions).

Commercial Radio Australia Ltd is the national industry body representing Australia's commercial radio broadcasters. The ACRAs is the pinnacle event of the year, which also includes the National Radio Conference. The Awards weekend is the only weekend of events in Australia dedicated to the commercial radio industry and is the largest gathering for commercial radio professionals in the southern hemisphere.
Initially, the goals are to spice up the appearance of the website making it more appealing to its audience. Phase two of the project will improve the current award entry management system and allow a more streamlined processing experience for back end administrators.
Kentico 8.1 was used as the platform in preparation for the new entry management system. This new version fits perfectly with the vision of the customer and their upgrade plans (all websites to version 8.1). Easy to build entry forms, slick back end management using dashboards and great performance uploading large files made the latest version of Kentico our only choice. New HTML 5 audio players were included allowing the end users to listen to samples of the winner’s applications.

The Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) is the eighth largest school district in Wisconsin with 12 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 2 high schools, and 2 charter schools.
ECASD chose Avastone Technologies and Kentico to create a new web presence that supported ECASD’s communication efforts, improved site usefulness and functionality, and increased efficiency and ease of making site updates. The new site, using Kentico 8.1, is really a collection of sites with the same layout but different colors, logos and images for each school. The site is responsive to display well on all devices. Avastone conducted usability testing with parents, students and staff in the design phase to ensure the layout and navigation would work well for all audiences. Customized calendar widgets display district and school events effectively. Kentico is integrated with Active Directory to control user roles, to populate the Staff Directory so it’s always up-to-date and to create a page for every teacher that they can edit to provide information to parents and students. ECASD has received positive comments about the site from parents and community members – staff find it easy to update.

The Australian Record Industry Association or ARIA represents the Australian Record Industry. The ARIA Awards or ARIAs are the flagship event of the Australian music calendar – a celebration of all that is great and popular in local music.
The goal was to create a site that looked uber-cool, worked across all devices and provided information that was in-depth and interactive. Historically, the site has been used mostly over the period that the ARIA Awards are on but we wanted to build a site that visitors would enjoy visiting all year round.
In a short space of time and with a very “fluid” set of requirements, Webcoda worked closely with ARIA to make sure they were building a platform that would host the ARIAS for years to come. ARIA also has many other sites across many platforms that will potentially be migrated across. This is where Kentico 8’s multi-tenancy capability was important.
Since going live, the website has had double the number of visitors in comparison to that same period last year.

NeighborWorks America is one of the country’s preeminent leaders in affordable housing and community development. The organization sought to provide stronger brand awareness, create engagement, and build brand loyalty while still articulating the mission and purpose of the organization.
Using Kentico 7, iMedia was able to design and develop a site that was both functional and engaging for the NeighborWorks site visitors. Building the site to be responsive was a critical step in the redesign process, this helped on-the-go site visitors obtain information in an efficient way. iMedia also worked with the Bureau of Internet Accessibility to ensure the site was compliant with the ADA accessibly requirements.
