New and Free at the Marketplace: BizStream QR Code Generator
A module that allows you to generate a QR code from any document in the content tree, developed by BizStream
A QR code (short for Quick Response) is a specific two-dimensional code, readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones. The information encoded can be text, URL or other data. To access these QR Codes, a smartphone with a QR Code Reader installed is needed. With the smartphone, users only scan a QR Code using the camera on the phone to display text, open a URL or call a number.
Brian McKeiver from
BizStream, a Kentico Gold partner from Michigan, USA, recently developed the
QR Code Generator module for Kentico CMS. It is offered for free at the
Marketplace. The module allows you to generate a QR Code from any document in the content tree. Before generating the code, you can customize the size of the image and preview the final URL that will be stored in the QR code itself.
