Today, we will introduce to you the next session from the technology track of the Kentico Connection 2010 - Creating Websites from Scratch Using a Portal Engine.

In this practical session, you will see step-by-step how to:

  • create your new web site from scratch
  • deploy a CSS
  • prepare a master page and page templates
  • create your first pages using webparts and widgets
  • prepare new document types and more.

A Portal Engine is a model that allows building websites using web parts and widgets in a browser-based user interface without any programming knowledge.

This session will be lead by Jeroen Fürst, Kentico lead developer  of IBL-Software.
