Kentico Opens Sales and Support Office in Seattle
We are happy to announce that we've just opened a new office in Seattle, WA. It will provide sales assistance and in the near future, it will also provide a U.S.-based technical support.
If you realize that half of our clients come from North America, it's probably not a big surprise that we continue building a strong presence in the United States. We started our U.S. office two and half years ago with Eric Webb in New Hampshire and we've seen a great success in the U.S. in the last years.
Now we are opening a new office in Seattle and I'm happy to welcome three new people in our team:
-
Justin Smith - our new Territory Sales Manager who will take care of our clients and partners on the west coast.
-
Allen Greenhaw and Edward Hillard - our new Support Engineers who will enhance our support team and allow us to extend our support hours.
And, of course, we've already had Thom Robbins in Seattle for one and half year! In total, we currently have 8 people in the United States.
Justin has twenty years of experience in high tech companies and we're really excited to have him on board. You can learn more about Justin in our
press release.
As you can see, we're adding not only sales people, but we're starting something bigger - we opened our
first support office outside the Czech Republic, so that we're closer to our clients and so that we are more available during their business hours.
And that's not all -
Allen and Edward will cover the hours when our Czech support engineers sleep, so
we will be able to provide 24/7 support in the near future, as well as offer a
Service Level Agreement for clients who require guaranteed response time for their mission critical enterprise projects.
To many people, a support office in the U.S. may seem to be a luxury. We should probably open some cheap support center in Asia or push our support engineers to work day and night. For us, however, customer support is as important as the software itself and we want to provide the best support in the industry.
So we're hiring people who enjoy their job, who have the skills needed to really answer your questions and who are likely to stay with us for a long time so that they can learn the product pretty well and provide a professional advice. Allen and Edward both have an extensive experience and I'm sure they will be very helpful for our clients.
