Kentico 8 has arrived

Hello Kentico friends, 
 
It gives me great pleasure to let you all know that we have officially released Kentico 8, effective immediately. For many reasons, it's no overstatement to say that Kentico 8 has really been the most important and most exciting release to date. First off, it's been 18 months since we launched the previous version. Much has happened between now and then. Second, two brand new departments have been built from scratch and have joined our fantastic development team: The UX (User Experience Team) and the PM (Product Management Team). These two teams are the ones primarily responsible for listening to and understanding the market, i.e. your needs and requirements. Last but not least, Kentico 8 is also a milestone in the way we deliver our solution to the market; over the last two years, we have worked hard internally to adopt the best of agile methodologies. Now it gives us the ability to deliver any future versions in a much quicker fashion. We are simply closer to you, our customers and partners. 
 
So, what's new in Kentico 8? As always, there are a lot of improvements and new features, but most importantly, we believe that we've made a big step towards delivering on our ultimate product vision – bringing a customer-centric, content driven, integrated marketing solution to the masses. Below are the most notable improvements:
 
·         Brand new uncluttered design with super-intuitive UI
·         Task-oriented contextual help complemented by how-to instructions
·         E-commerce improvements (Product Variants, Checkout, Discounts)
·         Online Marketing enhancements (Personas, AB & MVT, Strands Recommender)
