Still not able to clone Custom Table
I reported back in March about cloning custom tables not working properly. What I was told was I needed to apply hotfix 23. I applied hotfix 32 today and receive the same error as on hotfix 18.

My custom table has 5 fields, only 1 of which is a default field (ItemID). I've also tried adding a custom table with all the default fields (ItemOrder, ItemGuid, etc.) and still receive the same error when cloning it.

RE:Still not able to clone Custom Table
Ok after messing around all morning, I found this not to be a bug BUT rather the KIM didn't copy any of the .dlls into my project so I had to manually do it. Once I copied all the .dll's, the project built without issue.

RE:Still not able to clone Custom Table
Hi,

what were the exact steps please? Were there any errors? Or, e.g. Visual studio opened with given project? It seems that KIM could not access those files. I just tried HF32 and it worked fine for me.

Best regards,
Juraj Ondrus

RE:Still not able to clone Custom Table
I simply opened the KIM, selected my website, clicked Upgrade/Hotfix and selected HF32 and clicked Apply. The process completed without any error. I DID have Visual Studio opened, could that be why none of the DLL's were copied? If so, maybe some better checking could be added to the installer to notify someone when a folder is locked or not copied.

RE:Still not able to clone Custom Table
Hi,

It is recommended to close VS before applying hotfix/upgrade. However, I tried it and the files were overwritten just fine. Maybe your VS was blocking the files - it may depend what actions were made before in the VS.
