Document order after Synchronization not the same

We have noticed that the sort order of our documents after a synchronization is not the same. We have the New Document Order in both our stage and production setup to "Last".

Stage:
-a
-b
--1
--2
--3
--4
--5 <-new document

Production after Sync:
-a
-b
--1
--2
--3
--5 <- synced document
--4

Our page that displays this does not have a sort order defined because we want it to reflect the order in the tree.

I have to go into our production environment and fix the sort order.

We are on version 7.0.24.

Hi,

Could you please send us some screenshot more describing your issue? Also if you want to keep the order why not use the order condition. If you e.g. want to always show the newly added first use condition in your repeater like "order by NodeID desc".

Also - how do you fix this when you do this manually?

I am displaying the documents in the same order as they appear in the content tree so that the CMS Editor has control over the order they are displayed. By "fixing manually", I mean that I log into the production system after the synchronization ran and reorder the documents to be the same order as they appear in our staging environment. Immediately following the synchronization, they do not always appear in the same order between the two systems. I will try to get some screen shots together and post them later.
