media library image preview
hello.
i'm interested in using a image from the media library on a document page.
when I add the image to the media library, the preview window(file tab) gives:

Direct path: /KenticoCMS7/TestSite/media/Logos/logo.gif
Permanent link: /KenticoCMS7/getmedia/afa82688-132b-4427-b26a-cae3704909c5/logo.aspx;.gif;

the issue: permanent link works but the direct one doesn't when clicked. what should I do?

I think I should mention I tried setting
Settings -> Media -> Use permanent URLs = false

Could you please let me know which version of Kentico are you using and which hotfix is applied?

Hi. The version is: CMS version: 7.0 Build: 7.0.4640

Hello,

In that case, could you please try to apply the latest hotfix for your current Kentico version? This issue shhould be addressed by it already. Please use KIM (Kentico Installation Manager) as described in our documentation.
