Form in "Static HTML"-Webpart brings Error in IE6 and 7
This dropdownform is included in a "Static HTML"-Webpart. And it works! ;-).... but when a IE6 or 7 user wants to edit a text in a "Editable text"-field and save the changes the following error occurs:
(German)
Zeile: 346
Zeichen: 9
Fehler: 'theForm.__SCROLLPOSITIONX' ist Null oder kein Objekt
Code: 0
URL: http://kentico.weda.de/Produkte.aspx

Firefox gets no error.

This is the bad code:
<form id="blinker" name="blinker">
<select id="BLinkDropDownMenu" size="1" onchange="document.location.href=this.value;" name="BLinkDropDownMenu1">
<option selected="selected">Quicklink</option>
<option value="/xxx01.ASPX">01</option>
<option>-------------------------</option>
<option value="/xxx02.ASPX">02</option>
<option value="/xxx03.aspx">03</option>
<option value="/xxx04.aspx">04</option>
<option>-------------------------</option>
<option value="/xxx05.aspx">05</option>
<option value="/xxx06.aspx">06</option>
<option value="/xxx07.aspx">07</option>
<option value="/xxx08.aspx">08</option>
<option>-------------------------</option>
<option value="/xxx09.aspx">09</option>
<option value="/xxx10.aspx">10</option>
<option value="/xxx11.aspx">11</option>
<option value="/xxx12.aspx">12</option>
<option value="/xxx13.aspx">13</option>
<option>-------------------------</option>
<option value="/xxx14.aspx">14</option>
<option value="/xxx15.aspx">15</option>
<option value="/xxx16.aspx">16</option>
<option value="/xxx17.aspx">17</option>
<option>-------------------------</option>
<option value="/xxx18.aspx">18</option>
<option value="/xxx19.aspx">19</option>
<option value="/xxx20.aspx">20</option>
<option value="/xxx21.aspx">21</option>
<option value="/xxx22.aspx">22</option>
<option value="/xxx23.aspx">23</option>
<option value="/xxx24.aspx">24</option>
<option value="/xxx25.aspx">25</option>
<option value="/xxx26.aspx">26</option>
</select>
</form>

Any idea...

Thanks

RE:Form in "Static HTML"-Webpart brings Error in IE6 and 7
Hello,

the error is caused by the form tag which encapsulates the selection. This is just a code fragment of entire page where the main form tag is already placed. The solution is to remove the nested form tag.

Best Regards,
