Mirror site content tree section in multiple sites

I am going to have multiple websites in Kentico that I would like to share the same news section on all sites.

With that being said what I want is something like Linked Documents but when I create a new press release on the main site I want that document to automatically be shared to the other sites.

I don't want to just link back to the main site I want the documents to actually exist on both projects.

Is this possible with linked documents and I am just not doing something correctly?

Hi,

The linked documents won't help you much in getting the automatic behavior. An idea of a custom handler copying the news document to another site content tree is not too bad, but not so easy to implement.

Then there's an option to use the "SiteName" property in a news repeater (point it to the site where the news are being created), so the documents are actually dynamically displayed from another site.
Such solution has been discussed already, e.g. here in the Forums.

Thank you for the reply. Yes a handler to copy the new documents for you would be pretty awesome.

I have tried the link documents and the repeater using "SiteName". The repeater seems to be the best solution at the moment. The only thing is that we wanted there to be an actual page on both sites. But we are going to just use query strings to make it stay on the site and not link back to the parent site.
