Portal + ASPX Design tab
I have a site that was started as an ASPX. I have created a portal + aspx page template. I have set all the permissions, but I see no design tab. I noticed that if I go to Site Manager -> Development -> Modules/Content/User Interface there is no design element listed. How can I get this restored? Is this the default when starting with a new aspx site?

Hello.

Are you logged in as a global administrator or standard editor only, when you see no Design tab?

Also, do you use Portal engine functionality in your ASPX template as per http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/adding_portal_engine_functionality_to_aspx.htm?

Thank you.

Best Regards,
Radek Macalik

I am logged in as global administrator. I also followed the instructions. The following screen shot shows where the Design element is missing from the Content module.

RE:Portal + ASPX Design tab
Hello,

At this point, I am not sure why the UI elements are missing but I can investigate and get back to you about that. In order to correct the issue, the Content module needs to be regenerated. You could do so by exporting the module from a functional site, or by installing the Corporate site and overwriting with the new module. If you are unable to do so, please send us an e-mail at support@kentico.com and we will provide an export of the Content module.

Please make sure to delete the old module through the UI before importing the new version.

Best Regards,
