"Installation to Root" needed to use the software for multiple sites (URLs)?
I'm going through the Kentico install and don't have a test environment to play with so want to make sure I get it right - so sorry if this is an obvious question:)

Eventually we'll use Kentico to host multiple sites with entirely different URL's (example: aaa.com, bbb.com). Am I correct in assuming that I need to check the "Install at Root" checkbox to allow for this capability?

This quote from the install guide leads me to believe that I should check the box:
Check this option (use the website's root virtual directory for the application):
•If you want to set different bindings for your applications (to have your applications under different domains and IPs). You can set bindings only for websites, so you will have to use multiple websites.

Again, sorry this one seems obvious, but would hate to find out I messed it up a few months down the road when it is harder to fix.

Hello,

In general, this does not matter. You can also install it into a subdirectory, the important thing is what is set as the web site root in the IIS - so then even the sub directory on disk will act as root. Then it just depends on your binding settings for each site in the IIS.
