Module Packaging
Can some one tell me the exact process to package a module so that when it is installed at a different Kentico setup the module name automatically appear in the CMS Desk->Tools tab .

As of now after installing the packaged module i have to add a new ui element under SiteManager->Development->Modules->Tools->User Interface ->Custom , manually in order to make module appear on CMS Desk->Tools tab .

I just want to skip this manual addition of UI element and searching for a way to automate the whole process .

Hello,

You can export the Tools module with your custom one into one export package (Site Manager -> Sites -> Export objects) and this imports the Tools module with the UI item record for your custom module as well. However, if you import this package to a site which has the Tools module already changed, it overrides those values.
