KIM and Kentico hotfix
Hello,

I having some troubles understanding, on how KIM hot-fix apply works. It provides a list of available updates. Do I have to install them one by one? Or it is enough to do that for the last one to get also previous updates?

Also how to deploy these updates to other environments? Repeat all these steps manually on each environment?

thank you

RE:KIM and Kentico hotfix
Hello,

The latest hotfix always includes all the previous hotfixes and it is safe to hotfix from any hotfix version to any later one.

It is necessary to hotfix all the connected environments, hotfixes are not synchronized through staging or in web farm.

If you have multiple sites connected to the same database (web farm), you have to run the hotfix as usual on the first site, but disable the "SQL Script" option when hotfixing the other ones, to prevent hotfixing the database twice.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Regards,
Josef Dvorak
