Import content tree
I developed my site on local machine. Now I need to export this site to remote server. I tryed to use "Export site" on local machine and tryed to use "import site or objects" on remote server. All web-parts and page_tampletes and the other objects were copied except content tree(document tree)! Why??? What I should do to copy all site with content tree?

RE:Import content tree
Hello,

Could you please take a look at the tutorial in the link below? You may find all required information about importing and exporting your site there.

Also in order to export your whole site please chose the Select all objects in your exporting package settings. Also make sure you are using the same versions of Kentico in both of your instances.

http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/index.html?exporting_a_site.htm

Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Best regards,
Richard Sustek

RE:Import content tree
Hi,

Could you please check that page template(s), on which your documents are based, is assigned to site you exported? Sometimes this page template can be un-assign to that site, so documents are exported without their page template and they are not properly imported on source site, or content is missing (as content is bound to page template).

Also please make sure that the "Root" Document Type is assigned to the site.

Best regards,
Richard Sustek
