The requirements for Kentico CMS PRODUCTION server envinroment
Hello,

Can you please advise on setting up Kentico CMS production server envinroment?

Are the below system configuration settings correct or not sufficient for the Production server?

- Window 2008 server R2 Enterprise
- 4 CPUs
- 8GB of RAM
- C: drive - 50GB -> operating system
- D: drive - 500 GB -> MS SQL + Kentico CMS
- Can we host Kentico CMS web application and SQL database on the same or should we have separate servers for CMS and SQL?

Hello,

Your system seems to meet the system requirements; however, the performance will depend on how many sites you have, documents, users, concurrent visitors, etc. We recommend getting in touch with some of our partners for advice on implementation since they are usually responsible for that.
