authentication modes
Hello,
We run one intranet using active directory authentication. This works great for our primary intranet.

We are building a second intranet with users who are not a member of our active directory. We want this site to be wide open. How do we set this up?

Thanks.

Brad

RE:authentication modes
Hi,

In this case you can use mixed mode authentication which allows the users using AD or forms authentication.

Best regards,

RE:authentication modes
I want my main intranet to auto login users based on active directory.

I want my other intranet to automatically take users to the front page... no authentication at all. We are just using the intranet template that came with kentico 7 for this site.

Is this possible?

RE:authentication modes
Yes, it is. It depends how you will set the required authentication for the live site. Once the user tries to access a secured page, a logon page will be served where the user will use her AD credentials or forms credentials.
