I've skimmed through some of the documentation on running Kentico on Azure and they seem either out of date or too broad (eg. how to host the db, run an emulator, etc) for my needs.

I have an existing Kentico website already running on a traditional server that I want to move to Azure. I just created an Azure Website and deployed my Kentico site to it. It works fine. But how do I deal with file uploads and other content that Kentico generates on the filesystem? These server-side assets will be erased when the next deployment happens, correct?

So what is the recommended approach for handling this issue? Configuring a virtual directory?

What other tips, tricks or gotchas go with running a Kentico site on Azure. I'm only interested in hosting the asp.net website process on Azure (as a Website), not converting my project to an "Azure project".
