Hello,
Sorry for the inconvenience but I am new to Kentico and I have several questions to see if any of you can help me .

1. I want to change the language of the pages to Spanish but I try to change it and do not make the change and gives me an error that I have to go to " CMSDesk " as I can do?
2. In the section " Intranet Portal " where documents are uploaded I want to try that in the documents appear to rise up who and who edited last time , as I can add those fields?
3. If I did not see this anywhere, maybe it has to do ( something that is not if I can help ) make a part or section where reports can be made :
a. Report ordained Descending taxpayers , bringing certain user information required .
b. Most viewed or downloaded documents.
c. Members who are more involved in the forums.
4. It says I can upload videos and play them from the page or download them as I do that and where ?
5. To activate the email service ( to send keys , registration process, among others ) that I have to do or be active ?
6. When using the search does not yield any results , also wanted to know how to activate it ?

I could give you all the answers to your questions although it wouldn't do you any good, yku wouldn't learn the system. The best place to start is the Documentation section of this site. It will provide you with all the info you need.

Hi, I have seen or read but did not help me much and for example in the reports do not say anything, to change the language follow what they say and do not grab, do not really know what to do and would be helpful if I can help.

Hello Miguel,

1. Cultures for your site can be managed in Site Manager -> Sites -> <edit your site> -> Cultures. If you want to add Spanish culture, just click Add cultures button and select the preferred culture version for this language. Please see Developer's Guide - Configuring multilingual content for more details.
2. Are you referring to the Content management section on the left side in CMS Desk -> Content? If that is the case, then ordering them according to the last edited time is unfortunately not supported. But you can still drag and drop them and edit their order thihs way.
3. a) I am not entirely sure what you mean - is it E-commerce customers and the tax they pay? Could you please specify it further?
b) Page views are stored when Web Analytics module is enabled.
c) Getting information about the most involved members in the forums can be done through Tracking of activities.
4. All media files and content are usually saved in Media Library.
5. This information is usually sent using Newsletters.
6. You need to have Smart search indexing enabled in Site Manager -> Settings -> System -> Search settings. Also, it is necessary to rebuild the index after you create to get all documents indexed.

But as FroggEye pointed out, almost all information can be found in documentation.

Hello, I've been working on the first part is to translate and there are some "Widget" which can not translate on page "Home" to see if I can help.

The point is to add two fields "Name of creator - date / name who climbed edit - date when it was published" in the template documents within intranet portal

Hi Miguel,

To translate widget and web part texts, you can create new resource strings in Site Manager -> Development -> UI cultures, create a translation for it and then use it in web part configuration instead of a standard text. For example, text "There are currently no news." is probably a value of 'No record found text' property of the Latest news web part. Instead you can create resource string with key "latest.no.news" and then use it for the property as a localization macro like {$latest.no.news$}. This will guarantee that text will be displayed according to the selected culture and repsective resource string translation.

As for the adding fields to Document library web part, you will need to customize the control a little bit to achieve that. The control code files are located in ~/CMSModules/DocumentLibrary/Controls/DocumentLibrary.ascx.
