Server committed a protocol violation
Our system is set up to send e-mails out every night using an e-mail template.
However, the e-mails are sitting in the e-mail queue with an error message of "The server committed a protocol violation"?

Does anyone know why this is please?

If it helps, we used to get a different error message "Server does not support secure connections" so we unticked the SSL option within Site Manager > Settings > System > Emails > Default SMTP Server.

This led to us getting the current message.

Hello Gavin,

Could you please try suggestions mentioned in the top answer of the following forum thread - The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseStatusLine ERROR?

It seems like setting KeppAlive property helped most of the users who had the same problem.
