"Potentially dangerous request path" - how worried should I be?
This message has been popping up as an Exception in my EventLog all morning:

Message: A potentially dangerous Request.Path value was detected from the client (&).
Stack Trace:
at System.Web.HttpRequest.ValidateInputIfRequiredByConfig()
at System.Web.HttpApplication.PipelineStepManager.ValidateHelper(HttpContext context)

Here's our system:

CMS version: 7.0 Build: 7.0.4752
OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1

This seems to be a part of a deliberate, automated attack on the system. How worried should I be?

Should be happy as it is being blocked. What you might consider researching who and where they were "attacking" from. Then either put firewall rules in place or report it.
