UniGrid and Grouping

I'd like to use the UniGrid to display a list of transactions. These transactions need to be grouped by year and a subtotal displayed for each year. I'd like to use the UniGrid because of the built in sorting, paging, and exporting abilities. Is it possible to do this? Still new to the UniGrid but I can definately see the power behind it.

Hi,

It should be possible, but what kind of transactions specifically you wish to display?
UniGrid can display objects that have an ObjectType declaration or also the data from any general data source, but the configuration is the key. This UniGrid chapter in Controls guide should provide detailed information on the required and possible setup.

Kentico Legend	Brenden Kehren - 4/19/2013 1:30:03 PM RE:UniGrid and Grouping I'm populating it with a dataset that has relationships setup for the tables within it. I looked through the link you provided many times but don't see much about grouping and how that might work. Any suggestions?

Hello,

Could you please illustrate your aim with some screenshot or sketch?
How do you get the dataset? What's the structure?
Do you want to process the dataset after you obtain it from the source and before its rendered in the UniGrid, like do all the grouping etc. at that point?
