Hi,

Does Kentico support updating AD user record ( phone #, locations, etc )? Is there any webpart or custom webpart in Marketplace for this function?

Urgently need a solution for this. Thanks!

Hi,

Do you mean updating user information which was imported from AD? Or actually updating AD records? Please take a look at this article - it might give you the answer you are looking for. You can import users from AD and map the fields as necessary.

I need a tool that can actually updating AD records, maybe limited to certain fields only, like address, phone #, etc.

The piece that is included with Kentico is AD Authentication which is read only. You'd have to create your own web part or a simple page to do the work.

Hi,

Thank you for the clarification. As FroggEye suggested, you would have to create your own Web part by following an AD/C# Tutorial. We currently do not have anything out-of-the-box for this but you could make a suggestion on Kentico Uservoice.
