Regading CMS Desk page tempalte setup
Hi,

This is regarding a setup configuration on the website.
I have a master template and two page templates.

How can I configure a editable text box on master template and can refer (edit) on page template individually.

Master (TextBox)-> Page tempalte1 (TextBox - text B)
Master (TextBox)-> Page tempalte2 (TextBox - text A)

Thanks
Sunil

Take a look at this example this example that talks about visual inheritance. Also take a look at Development with Portal Engine. This should get you going in the right direction.

Hi Sunil,

FroggEye's suggestions for layout guides can be useful for giving you general knowledge about how visual inheritance works in Kentico CMS.

I would just like to mention that you can set the inheritance level for given site section and have different look and feel and also add another page placeholder web part so it will be like another master page. I hope it makes sense for you.

Best regards,
