Custom Blog lost some functionality
For our current project, we are using custom blog document types. I cloned CMS.Blog, CMS.BlogMonth, and CMS.BlogPost. By doing this, and using the custom document types, I seem to have lost some functionality including, BlogMonth automatically being created and all comment moderation. When I go to CMSDesk -> My Desk -> Blogs no blogs show up at all. Is there anyway to solve this problem or am I forced to use the default document types to get this functionality?

RE:Custom Blog lost some functionality
I've never cloned the existing and expected the same functionality, I've always added to the default if I wanted the built in functionality. I'm about 99.9% sure Kentico is doing something based on the cms.blog, cms.blogmonth, cms.blogpost classes in the background.

An option might be to create a new doc type that inherits the original. This should give you all those fields as well as some additional fields and functionality AND should keep the build in features you need from the base doc types.
