Tool bar set not appearing on Alternate form with custom layout
I am using an alternate form to display some custom fields for user profiles. One of the fields is an HTML text area. The alternate form has a custom layout and in constructing this layout it appears that the CK Editor does not appear anywhere on the page (either right above the HTML text area or at the top as it does in the CMSDesk). How do you get the CKEditor onto the page and set right so the HTML text areas can be edited properly in the custom layout. Thanks.

By default the CKEditor should be loaded when the alternate form layout page is loaded. I know there are some pages that require silverlight and maybe this is one of them. You might check out to see if you're receiving any javascript errors as well. Are you able to see the CKEditor in the CMSDesk in other areas? Have you modified the source for those pages/controls at all?

RE:Tool bar set not appearing on Alternate form with custom layout
Hello,

FroggEye has got the point. What about editable regions on standard pages, e.g. for Editable text web part? Is CKEditor loaded correctly then? Aren't there any errors or warnings in Event log related to this issue?

Best regards,
