Inconsistent Server Response - IE, Chrome, Safari
I have this odd behaviour on my site that's driving me crazy!

I typically get the site to load in safari on my Mac just fine. However when I try in IE, or chrome i get a completely empty page - no 404 error, no actual HTML content - just an empty white browser.

I've been trying different combinations of things and have been going through the web.config but can't seem to put my finger on what's going on.

Has anyone seen this before - anything you can suggest?

Thanks

Jay

RE:Inconsistent Server Response - IE, Chrome, Safari
I think I may have sorted this out. It looks like I had a conflict with document cultures. I had set my default content and visitor culture to en-AU however all of my content was in en-US. I changed the culture of the existing documents to en-AU and the dropped all of the en-US documents and it seemed to start working across all browsers.

Does this sound like a legitimate reason?

RE:Inconsistent Server Response - IE, Chrome, Safari
Hi,

Yes, culture is one of the document identifiers so the system knows which document to server. Some browsers are more strict and are forces their culture some not. Also, if the culture for the user is set in CMS to X and the documents exists only in Y, there is nothing to server to the user in the specified culture. Unless the combine with default culture is set to true.
