Content Slider Duplicating Numbers
I am displaying images with the content slider web part but it is doubling the linked numbers on the bottom.

For example there are 4 images in the folder to be displayed but it is showing 8 numbers on the bottom. The first 4 numbers (1-4) work correcty but if I click the last 4 (5-8) the content slider no longer loads. It just sits there with nothing displaying, even if I click 1-4 which previously worked.

The only way to get it to redisplay after that is to refresh the page.

Anyone have this problem before or know how to fix it?

RE:Content Slider Duplicating Numbers
Hello,

Could you please confirm which hotfix and version the site in question is running? I have just tested the Content Slider in v7.0.51 by pointing it to a folder with 4 images and only 4 links were generated. Is it possible that you have more than 4 images but they haven't been published? If so, you can enable "Select only published" in the Web part properties. I would also suggest applying the latest hotfix to eliminate the possibility of this being caused by a bug.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,
Sandro Jankovic

RE:Content Slider Duplicating Numbers
We are currently on v7.0.37 right now. I checked the folder and there are only 4 images in that folder. I do have the "Select only published" checked off and am getting this result.

Not sure if it makes a difference but I do have 2 content sliders next to each other pointing at 2 different locations. Each have 4 images in their respective folders.

RE:Content Slider Duplicating Numbers
Hello,

Thank you for the additional clarification. I just tested this by adding two content sliders on a page and pointing them to two separate folders containing images. Each of the sliders had its own pager numbers and they were separated. So Content Slider 1 had pages 1,2,3,4 and Content Slider 2 had pages 1,2,3,4. I would recommend applying the latest hotfix and checking the page for errors using a tool such as FireBug. Please let us know what you find.
